Ghana\u2019s HIV response is at a critical stage. While we have the tools to end AIDS as a public health threat, challenges such as stigma, discrimination, and funding gaps remain. The Commission is strengthening partnerships, improving coordination, and advancing sustainable financing to support effective HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support services.<\/p>\n

We are committed to reducing new infections, eliminating mother-to-child transmission, and achieving zero stigma and AIDS-related deaths through inclusive, evidence-based approaches.<\/p>\n

Established by the Ghana AIDS Commission Act, 2016 (Act 938)<\/h4>\n

The Commission serves as the highest body for the formulation of policies on HIV and AIDS in Ghana. We coordinate all stakeholders in the national response, ensuring efficient resource utilization and accountability.<\/p>\n

Working closely with government agencies, development partners, civil society organizations, and communities, we strive to achieve the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets and ultimately end AIDS as a public health threat in Ghana.<\/p>\n
