GAC AND PARTNERS BID UNAIDS-GHANA COUNTRY DIRECTOR FAREWELL

The Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC) hosted a cocktail to honour and bid farewell to Ms. Angela Trenton-Mbonde, UNAIDS Country Director for Ghana as she goes on retirement. The event took place at Alisa Hotel, North Ridge-Accra. Ms. Trenton-Mbonde was lauded by Dr. Kyeremeh Atuahene, Director General of GAC and staff. Mr. Atuahene said her dedication and contributions as Country Director for UNAIDS, Ghana over the past five years were remarkable. PREVENTION COALITION MEETING

The Ghana AIDS Commission in partnership with the UNAIDS organized the Prevention Coalition meeting on April 14, 2022. Thanking participants for their attendance, Dr Kyeremeh Atuahene, the Director-General of the Ghana AIDS Commission, alluded to the fact that the number of people present was a testament to the effort and desire to control the HIV epidemic through prevention interventions.
