About the Technical Services Division

The Technical Services Division is responsible for providing technical, operational and administrative leadership in Technical Services for the achievement of the mandate of the Commission.

Director, Technical Services

Leads the Administration Division and reports to the Director-General, ensuring the Commission’s corporate services are efficient, compliant, and aligned with strategic priorities.

A health professional with varied experience in public health, program management, policy analysis and administration. He has been involved in HIV and reproductive health and rights intervention design, medical outreaches, and youth development activities over the past 15years. He holds an MB ChB degree from the University of Ghana Medical School, a Master of Public Administration degree from East Carolina University, USA, and a Certificate in HIV Innovative Management and Care from Galilee Management Institute (GIMI, Israel).  He is currently the Director of Technical Services at the Ghana AIDS Commission.

Key Responsibilities

Core functions delivered by the Technical Services Division in support of the Commission’s mandate.

Provide inputs for the formulation of policies of the Commission.

Provide technical advice on the epidemic and its management.

Collaborate with the Health sector and relevant stakeholders in the development and implementation of HIV and AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support interventions.

Provide technical support in the development and review of guidelines and manuals for the management of the epidemic.

Ensure the planning, design, and implementation of projects of the Commission.
